Willie A. "Bill" Joyner

Willie A. “Bill” Joyner 80 died Sunday, September 19, 2021.

Bill was born November 14, 1940, in Barnwell, SC a son of the late Floyd B. and Corrine Hall Joyner. 

He retired from General Electric and served our country in the United States Air Force.  He was a member of Surfside First Baptist Church and volunteered with Meals on Wheels.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Jo Ann Joyner, his son, Willie A. “Sonny” Joyner Jr and wife Holli, grandchildren, Austin Allan Joyner and Anna Emerson Joyner, two brothers, Tom and Jack Joyner; three sisters, Janie McKendree, Betty Blair and Marie Seilinger.  He was pre-deceased by a grandson, William Kyle Joyner, and two brothers, Jimmy and Lionel Joyner.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Thursday, September 23rd at Surfside First Baptist Church in Surfside Beach.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 1:50 PM at the church.  Burial will follow in Ocean Woods Memorial Cemetery.
