Obituary
William Wolf passed away on September 13, 2023 at home in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina where he resided with immediate family.
Born in 1935, William grew up on the south side of Chicago, Illinois. After high school, he started working for the Chicago Tribune setting up printing presses. He eventually received a barber’s license and enjoyed cutting hair while also obtaining his Stationary Engineer’s license for the City of Chicago. William then worked several years at Hunt Wesson Foods in Chicago, Illinois as an Engineer of Stationary Steam Engines, Boilers, and Steam Generating Apparatus. He also then went on to work at Pyle National Inc., Avon and Oscar Mayer - all in Chicago, Illinois within the same Engineer job title.
Early on during this time, William married Shirley Kruscler in July of 1956 and they have three children – Mark, Kenneth and Linda. William also has two grandchildren – Michael and Kristin.
William was predeceased by his wife Shirley Ann Wolf, his mother, Helen Wolf, his father Fred Wolf, all siblings and grandparents on both sides.
A private Celebration of Life service will be held in his honor at McMillan-Small Funeral Home and Crematory in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
