William Bruce (Jr.) Harris

William Bruce Harris, Jr., died peacefully at home on April 16, 2021at age 65.

He is the son of the late Col. William Bruce and Evelyn Stokes Harris.  

Bruce was a member of several service organizations in the Myrtle Beach area and always willing to give someone advice or a willing hand.  He was also a member of the Dunes Golf & Beach Club.  Bruce loved the game of golf and what it stood for – integrity, honesty, and dedication and that was the way he lived his life.

He is survived by his wife, Eva Harris; step-son, Patrick Dusenbury; granddaughters, Abbie Dusenbury and Bella Dusenbury; step-sisters, Carol Cochran and Laura Riley.

A celebration of life service will be held at McMillan-Small Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at 6:00 PM.  The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his memory to First Tee Coastal Carolinas, P. O. Box 1820, Shallotte, NC 28459.
