Jerry went onto become a General Manager for Canteen running operations in Charlotte, NC; Greensboro, NC; and Dallas, TX. Jerry ended his career with Canteen back in Charlotte NC as Vice President overseeing operations for Canteen across five states in the Southeast.
After leaving Canteen, in 1986, Jerry moved to Myrtle Beach where he spent his remaining 39 years living in the Dunes and Kingston Plantation. Jerry purchased and operated a Heavenly Ham store in the Galleria Shopping Center for eight years. He had a South Carolina realtor license, worked at Century 21 Boling with a great group of people and financed & built several homes in the Myrtle Beach area over the years.

He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Katherine, and brother, John Francis Concannon.
Jerry loved the beach and living by the ocean. He was a scuba diver and even lived on houseboat in Miami for more than five years.
The Family would like to extend a special thanks to the Agape Care Group. They did an exceptional job with care and all the coordination necessary for home hospice.
He passed away peacefully, in comfort sorrounded by family, with an ocean view, listening to the waves and a nice breeze blowing in.
Jerry will be dearly missed by his family and friends, whose lives were touched by his kindness and generosity.
