He was a lifelong member of First United Methodist Church, and proudly served six years in the United States Air National Guard. He actively invested in the growth and camaraderie of Myrtle Beach through his long-standing involvement with the Rotary Club, the Sertoma Club and Pine Lakes Country Club. Bill embraced life with passion and energy. Throughout his life, he loved flying his own plane, playing golf, slalom water skiing, and cheering on the Clemson Tigers.. Above all else, Bill treasured his family and deeply cherished the 37 wonderful years he shared with his wife, Rebecca.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Lyles Bellamy, Sr. and Lionell Hughes Bellamy.
