William David Aldridge

A gentle spirit has gone to be with his Lord.  Our David unexpectedly passed away on Monday, November 22, 2021.  Because of our Christian faith, we have joy in spite of our sadness. Because of his faith and ours we know where David is today.  We are here sad and broken hearted.  He is joyous because he no longer has to struggle with the terrible affliction of myotonic muscular dystrophy.   In spite of the challenges he faced during his every day life, there were no complaints.  He was an over comer and made the most of his life by being the best friend to his brother Chad who struggles with the same condition.  We watched as he took care of the tasks that his brother couldn’t do.  We heard the care and concern he expressed for those seniors and less fortunate who came to the pharmacy where he worked and could not afford their medication.  He will be especially missed during this holiday season, because there are so many of our family traditions associated with Thanksgiving and Christmas.  He would wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving and Christmas!  He would say to you if you haven’t discovered the hope, he had because of his faith ask Jesus to come into your heart.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00am Saturday, November 27, 2021 at Ocean View Baptist Church in Myrtle Beach.  Entombment will follow at Southern Palms Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until 10:45am at the church prior to services in the commons area.
