Vinh Duc Lam

Vinh D. Lam, 63, passed away on August 22, 2026, in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. He was born on September 27, 1962, in Saigon, Vietnam.
Vinh was a loving father, grandfather, chef, and friend whose greatest joy was bringing people together. He had a lifelong love of music and singing and a true passion for cooking. As a chef, he found happiness in preparing meals for others and creating moments where family and friends could gather around the table.
Vinh believed deeply in helping others and giving back to his community. Above all else, he loved his family more than anything in the world. His kindness, generosity, humor, and love will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him.
He is survived by his son, Peter (Ariana), and grandchildren Kaeleigh, Melodi, Maelani, and Kinsleigh; his daughter, Ashley (Antonio), and grandchildren Antonio Jr. and Angelique; and his daughter, Vanessa (Trent).
Services will be held at McMillan-Small Funeral Home & Crematory, 910 67th Ave. N., Myrtle Beach, SC 29572.
A viewing will be held Saturday, August 29, 2026.
The funeral service will be held Sunday, August 30, 2026. Doors will open at 10:00 a.m., with the service beginning at 12:00 p.m.
