Velma Marie Honosky

Velma Marie Honosky, 81, wife of the late Leo Honosky, Sr., passed away on February 12, 2025 at Grand Strand Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, SC.

Ms. Honosky was an Air Force wife, most loving, selfless, giving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She always did everything for others and did not expect anything in return. She had a wonderful sense of humor, was fiesty, and very protective of her family.

She was the rock of our family.

Survivors include her children; Leo Honosky, Jr. (Patricia), Tim Honosky (Jerri), Kim Green, and Vicki Chiappini (Al); sisters, Alice Baker (Bob), and Nancy McGlothlin (Wayne); grandchildren, Felicia Chiappini, Mikayla Helms (Aaron), Austin Green (Marj), Jade Ahlers, and Savanah Honosky; great-grandchildren, Gracie Chiappini, Albert Helms, Anthony Chiappini Helms, and Lainey Chiappini; sister-in-laws, Gladys Dent (Donald), and Mary Johnson (Victor); brother-in-law, Pat Honosky (Diane).

Memorial service will be held on Sunday, February, 16, 2025 at 1:00 PM at McMillan-Small Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until service time.
