Mrs. Theta DuBois Alford, widow of Marvin E Alford, passed away peacefully at her home on January 19. Born Aug. 2, 1932 the daughter of O.C. and LaZelle Simmons Dubois. She was a graduate of Myrtle Beach High School, a member of First Baptist Church of Myrtle Beach, and worked most of her adult life with her mother at LaZelle's Flower Shop. Later she owned and operated Shell Cove Mobile Home Park. Known for her big heart and love of cooking, she touched the lives of many.
She is survived by her three daughters; Sherry Sessions (Steve), Kay Alford, and Maxine Minnamon; grandaughter, Shana Mayfield (Jeremy) and grandson, Vincent Minnamon, as well as many special nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters, Annette Johnson and Lyticia Wesner, and grandson Shawn Sessions.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, January 24, 2021 at McMillan-Small Funeral Home, followed by burial at Ocean Woods Cemetery. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
