Thelma E. Thiele

Mrs. Thelma E. Thiele, 76 of Myrtle Beach, SC died on August 27, 2021. She leaves behind a loving husband of 54 years, William E and a daughter Denise Thiele-Logan of Longs, SC.

Thelma was raised in Tarrytown, NY and a long time resident in Briarcliff Manor, NY before moving to Myrtle Beach in 1993. She worked for the Westchester County Medical Center before moving to Myrtle Beach where she volunteered at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church office, was an active  women’s club member, past president and 2014 Catholic Women of the Year and also at Conway Medical Center in patient transport for over 25 years.  She was also an avid golfer and bowler with many trophies.

She was the daughter of Edgar and Thelma Brennen, and her beloved family consisted of 13 brothers and sisters. She was predeceased by her father and mother and brothers William, Donald, Richard, Edgar, Gary and Robert; and her sisters Patricia Hoffman and Barbara Gorey. She is survived by her brothers Warren of Port Charlotte FL and James of Irvington, NY and sisters Elizabeth Brown of South Falls, NY and Catherine Dandreano of Venice FL. She was also beloved by her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, many nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews and many friends.

A Memorial Mass will be held on September 1, 2021 at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Myrtle Beach at 11:00 AM.
