Sylvia Mattos Obituary

Sylvia Mattos, a longtime resident of Myrtle Beach, SC passed away after a brief illness on April 30, 2023. She was born on January 6, 1936 in Ponchatoula, LA.

Sylvia never met a stranger and was loved by all who knew her.

She will greatly missed by her son Jeff Trimm and his wife Melissa of Morgan City, LA. Her grandson Joshua Trimm and his wife Ashley. Her granddaughter Meagan (Trimm) Cubbage and her grandson in law Stephen Cubbage. She also leaves behind four beautiful great grandchildren Madysen, Blakeleigh, Brantley and Harper, along with her niece Kim Varnedoe and her family.

Sylvia is preceded in death by her parents Ora and Katherine Oakley, brother Chester Oakley, her sisters Grace Boulware & Florene Blackwell and her grandson Justin Trimm.

She leaves behind many friends that she has come in contact with through her life’s journey. Especially a little boy name Wyn.

A private service will be at a later date in Louisiana.
