Sean Christopher Christensen

Sean Christopher Christensen, 46, of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, passed away Thursday, February 6, 2025, at Grand Strand Medical Center.  Survivors include his mother, Eileen Christensen, and sister, Melanie Christensen of Woodland, California. He was preceded in death by his father, Don Christensen.  Arrangements are being handled by McMillan-Small Funeral Home in Myrtle Beach.

Sean was born February 21, 1978, in Walnut Creek, California, the son of Donald and Eileen Christensen.

Sean was a man of many talents. After becoming a master diver in St. Croix, he became a certified commercial diver, multimedia system installer, and later an electrician.  Residing for many years in Iowa, he maintained his love of the water with return trips to St. Croix, as well as road trips throughout the Midwest, stopping at the occasional roller coaster park along the way.  Sean was a brewmaster, an avid boater and fisherman, and a chef and connoisseur of gourmet BBQ (he never underestimated the value of well-seasoned cast-iron pans).    After many Iowa winters, he relocated to Myrtle Beach in 2023, enjoying trips to the beach and the mild weather.
