Samuel "Buddy" Welch Lowe, Jr.

Samuel “Buddy” Welch Lowe Jr. 80 died Wednesday, February 17, 2021.

He was born in Greensboro, NC, March 16, 1940 a son of the late Samuel W. and Lois Moore Lowe.  Buddy was a retired contractor and served his country in the US Marine Corp.

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Brown Lowe; daughters, Kimberly Beth Davis and husband Kenneth and Susan Marie Holshouser and husband Brian; sisters, Marie Marshburn and Emily Roberson; grandson, Joseph S. Davis; and brother, Pete Lowe.

A private funeral service will be at 1:00 PM, Monday, February 22, 2021 at First United Methodist Church in Myrtle Beach, SC.   Entombment with military honors will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.  A public celebration of life service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Horry County Animal Care Center, 1923 Industrial Park Road, Conway, SC 29526.
