Roberto Rodriguez, Jr.

It is with deep sadness that the family of Roberto Rodriguez, Jr. announces his passing on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at the age of 56 in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Roberto Rodriguez Jr., resident of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina was born on April 2, 1970 in Havana, Cuba, arriving in the USA on May 20th, 1980 in Key West, along his mother and brother, followed by a short stay in Miami, Tampa and California and ultimately resided with his wife of 27 years, Monica and his children, Chris and Raul in Long Island- NY, New Jersey, and South Carolina.
Roberto grew up in Cuba until the age of 10, he then moved to Miami, Florida. He graduated from John Marshall High School in LA, California in 1988. He enlisted in the United States Army right after high school. He served 4 years stationed at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, Texas, honorably discharged. After military service he met and married the love of his life Miaora Monica in 1999. Having three ceremonies in Long Island-NY, Romania, and Jersey and ultimately renewed their vows at their 25 year anniversary. They were blessed with two sons Chistopher Robert Rodriguez and Raul Stefan Rodriguez.
He loved spending time with his wife and kids, as well as friends and family. He liked to go fishing, hunting and playing cards with his buddies, nevermind a golf and cigar session.
Roberto was a dedicated and loving husband and father, whose greatest pride and joy were his children and wife. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his devoted and lovely wife, Miaora Monica Rodriguez. He is also survived by his two beloved sons, Christopher Rodriguez and Raul Rodriguez, his parents Jose` and Concepcion Guerra, and his brother Maurice Rodriguez.
He will be carried in their hearts, souls and memories for as long as they shall live.
God rest his beautiful soul and may he be accepted In Heaven to the right of THE FATHERS OF ALL FATHERS, and may he watch and guide us every day until the day we meet again!
For those who’d like to pay their respects and join the family for the funeral services and public visitation, a funeral service will be held on Sunday, September the 13th at McMillan-Small Funeral Home & Crematory. Located at 910 67th Ave N, Myrtle Beach, SC 29572.
