Rickey Alvis Riddle, Sr.

Rickey Alvis Riddle Sr., 79, passed away on June 24th, 2026 in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

He was born on October 24th,1946 in Burlington, NC to the late Carnie Alvis Riddle and Elsie Moore Riddle.

Rickey was preceded by his brother Larry Riddle (Vera), niece Sabrina and nephew Nelson Riddle. In his early years Rickey graduated from City High School in Baltimore, He also attended the University of Baltimore for two years, He served as a Police Officer for Baltimore City and Howard County for a total of 47 years, He married the love of his life Kathryn Bradley Riddle on September 9, 1967. They had three children together. Rickey served in the National Guard. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, crabbing, photography and playing cards,

Rickey is survived by his loving wife Kathryn Riddle, Children; Stacey Riddle-Saboy (Mike), Rickey Riddle Jr. (Jen); Grandchildren, Jeffrey Weinberger (Lindsey), Mackenize, Ryan and Alex Riddle, Brianna and Austin Rice, Ricky and Jared Giblin and Great Grandson, Waylon Hulver.

He will be cremated and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
