Richard Edward Mancill, III, beloved father, step-father, grandfather, husband and businessman passed away on Friday, July 22nd, 2022. He was 76-years-old. He grew Mancill, Inc. into a large company employing hundreds of people and eventually expanding his company to incorporate HVAC and plumbing services. Throughout the years, he enjoyed serving as the President of the Dunes Club and being on the board of the Rotary and Sertoma Clubs, as well as on the board of the Chamber of Commerce.
Richard loved surrounding himself with family and friends. He spent his leisure time enjoying golf, hunting and bush hogging at his farm, working out with the sweat hogs, pilates with his instructor Lynda Mancuso, fishing in Eleuthera, enjoying the mountains of Highlands NC, traveling to beautiful countries around the world with Linda and friends, making lists, piddling around the house and spending time with his family and grandchildren.
