Richard Evans Obituary

Richard John Evans, 77, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, January 6th 2021 at his residence in Myrtle Beach, SC. He was born July 25, 1943 in Columbus, OH to the late Harold & Edith Evans.

He was retired from the United States Postal Service and was a longtime OHSAA wrestling official. He was employed by Myrtle Beach National Golf Course.

He was preceded in death by his wife Peggy Evans and his wife Glema Evans, his brothers David, Paul, & Frank Evans, & his sisters Marilyn Kay Titus and Barbara Fulston.

He is survived by his children with Peggy; daughter Laurie (Michael) Williams of Sunbury, OH, son Chris Evans of Hilliard, OH; his grandchildren Jake, Trevor, Madonna, Sebastian, Scarlett, & Anikka; brothers, Harold (Patty) Evans of Hilliard, OH & Jerry (Kathleen) Evans of FL; & several nieces and nephews.

In light of the current situation with COVID-19, a private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
