Regina H. (Arnold) Berndt

Regina Helen Berndt passed away on April 15, 2025, at the age of 79, in Myrtle Beach, Horry County, South Carolina. Born on December 27, 1945, Regina was a beacon of strength, love, and joy to all who knew her.
Regina's early years were spent in the Linden, New Jersey school district, followed by her graduation from Woodbridge High School in Woodbridge, NJ. After high school, she ventured briefly into bartending before making a significant career shift into the corporate world. Regina joined AT&T, where she diligently worked her way up to become a human resource manager. Known for her strong work ethic and engaging personality, she retired early to focus more on her personal life, which was as rich and varied as her professional one.
Throughout her life, Regina was a dedicated wife to her husband, Thomas, a loving mother to her daughter, Melissa, and a caring sister to her sister, Terri. She was preceded in death by her parents, Anne and Herbert Arnold, and her sister Kathleen Arnold.
Regina was a woman of many interests and hobbies. She enjoyed skiing, writing, reading, knitting, traveling, painting, and vacationing. Always active, she loved walks on the beach, dining out, and most importantly, spending quality time with her family and friends. Her adventurous spirit and warm sense of humor brought light and laughter into the lives of those around her.
A viewing will be held at McMillan-Small Funeral Home at 910 67th Ave N, Myrtle Beach, SC. Regina Berndt will be remembered not only for her accomplishments and dedication but for the warmth and love she shared so freely. Her legacy of kindness, generosity, and spirited enthusiasm for life will continue to inspire those who knew her.
