Patty Whitlock

Patty Harless Whitlock, 68, of Myrtle Beach SC, passed away at home on May 12, 2022.   

Patty was born June 15, 1953 in Anchorage Alaska to the late Myrtle Ford Harless and James William Harless. Being in a military family she lived many places including Washington DC, Mississippi, Tennessee, North Carolina and later Germany and Texas, until finally moving to MB in 1980. She loved going to the beach, collecting shells, and enjoying time with family and friends.                       

Patty was currently employed at the Myrtle Beach Nike Outlet Store as an Assistant Head Coach for the past 22 years.  She took great pride in her work and in helping others. She previously worked for many years at the Myrtle Beach Air Force Credit Union.  

In addition to her parents, Patty was predeceased by her beloved daughter Lori Gonzalez Trembley. 

Surviving is her devoted husband, Chuck Whitlock of 32 years, sister and best friend, Joy and brother-in-law, Matt Born of Illinois, adored twin grandsons, John Connor Trembley and Dylan Scott Trembley of Myrtle Beach, and much-loved nephew, Adam Born of Illinois.   

Patty lived her life with grace, compassion, and selflessness and loved deeply those she was closest to.   She will be sorrowfully missed by her family and many cherished friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 28, 2022 in the McMillan-Small Funeral Home Chapel with family greeting friends immediately following.
