Patrick William Mullen, 56, passed away, February 5, 2025 at Embrace Hospice House in Myrtle Beach, SC with his niece and cherished friend at his side.
He was born October 6, 1968 in Pennsylvania, a son of the late Patrick and Eugenia Scott Mullen.
A son, uncle, father, friend, and colleague, Patrick was a man of many talents who touched the lives of so many people. He was always quick to offer support and willing to lend a hand whenever necessary. He always found time for his family and friends.
Most important to Patrick was family whether it was his immediate family and/or extended family.
Patrick spent his teenage years in Amity, Pennsylvania. During this time, he spent many years with the Rogers family. His connection with the family grew over the years through family gatherings, celebrations and vacations. The family considered him their son, brother and uncle just as he consider them his family – Mom and Dad, Linda and the late Al Rogers; brothers Albert Lee (Kristen), Alan (Melissa) and Alvin (Tina), sister, April (Jeff); nieces, Whitney (Cameron), Caitlin, Ciana, Presley and Kylie; nephews, Dalton, Cody, Colton, Cameron, Corbin (Sedona) ; great-nephew, Jameson and vacation traveling buddies, Carolyn, Bodhi and Gia. His favorite Pennsylvania goodie was Osso’s pizza which his family members would bring to him several times a year.
Patrick spent most of his adulthood in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. During this time, he developed many long-lasting friendships and became part of the Cooper Mechanical Services family. Patrick Mullen commenced his tenure at Cooper Mechanical Services in June 2010 and remained an essential contributor to the organization until his untimely passing. Patrick consistently demonstrated reliability by responding to phone calls from individuals in distress on the road and was invariably willing to assist friends in their time of need. His extensive knowledge of vehicles made him the obvious choice to manage the fleet at Cooper. As his time with the company extended, he adeptly undertook large installation projects, completing them within the designated timeframes. Patrick mentored many young men in their personal and business lives. Patrick was a commendable friend and colleague, and he will be profoundly missed.
He will be truly missed and will never be forgotten, as requested, there will not be a viewing. There will be a memorial service on Saturday, February 15 at the Ignite Church, located at 4808 N. Kings Hwy, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577, starting at 11am.
