Patricia Dawn Grove

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Patricia Dawn Grove, a beloved wife, mother,
grandmother, and great-grandmother, who peacefully departed this world in Myrtle Beach, South
Carolina. Patricia was married to her beloved husband, Wayne Grove, for 50 years—a half-century filled
with love, laughter, and companionship that stood the test of time.
Patricia was a devoted and cherished mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose presence in
her family’s life will be deeply missed. Her life was one of warmth, love, and dedication to those she held
close. Family meant everything to Patricia, and she poured her heart into nurturing the generations that
followed her.
In addition to being an avid golfer and accomplished bridge player, Patricia found immense joy in making
beautiful quilts for family and friends. Each quilt was a labor of love, crafted with care and attention to
detail, providing warmth and comfort to those she cherished. Her quilts were more than just fabric and
thread; they were tokens of her love, treasured by all who were blessed to receive them.
Professionally, Patricia had a distinguished career as a Financial Contracting Officer with the Department
of the Navy, from which she retired after many years of dedicated service. Her work demonstrated her
keen intellect and commitment to integrity, earning her the respect and admiration of her colleagues.
Patricia’s warmth, kindness, and boundless love for her family leave a legacy that will live on in the hearts
of all who knew her. She will be remembered for her laughter, her strength, and her unwavering devotion
to the people she loved most.
In honoring her memory, we celebrate the remarkable woman she was and hold her spirit close in our
hearts, forever grateful for the love, joy, and beauty she brought into our lives. Patricia Dawn Grove will be
profoundly missed and forever cherished.
