“Pamela Michelle Salice, known affectionately as Pam, passed away on October 14, 2023, in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, at the age of 58. She was born on October 19, 1964, in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, to Audrey and James Wellspeak. Pam was a passionate, kind, strong, thoughtful, and cheerful woman who touched the lives of many.

Pam is survived by her loving husband, Peter, and their beloved daughter, Lexi. She is also survived by her mother, Audrey Wellspeak, her father, James Wellspeak, and her siblings: Sue Kos, and husband Mike, Linda Ingegni, Monica Vaughan, and husband Chris, Michael Wellspeak, Peggy Hewitt and husband Wayne. Pam will be dearly missed by her in-laws: Richard P. Salice Jr., and wife Cathy, Ron Salice, and wife Kathy, and Lori Crocker. She also leaves behind 17 nieces and nephews, as well as 9 great-nieces and nephews.

Pam was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Emma and George Wellspeak, her maternal grandparents, Alice and Al Russell, her mother and father-in-law, Gloria and Richard P. Salice, and her brother-in-laws, Tim Crocker, and Robert Ingegni.

After graduating from Lee High School in 1982, Pam pursued an Associate's degree in Medical Billing and Coding. She started her career in this field, working at Dr. Barr's office in Escondido, California, and later became a paraprofessional at Horry County Schools for over 15 years. Pam's attention to detail and compassion made her an invaluable asset. She shared a love for her students and fellow staff that was immeasurable.

Outside of work, Pam enjoyed a variety of hobbies. She loved doing puzzles, flying kites, and watching football. Pam had a green thumb and found solace in gardening. She had a keen eye for photography and cherished capturing special moments. Above all, Pam cherished spending time with her family and friends. She made countless memories while visiting Emerald Isle and delighted in cooking delicious food for her loved ones.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Metastatic Breast Cancer Network, an organization dedicated to giving those with metastatic breast cancer a greater voice within the community, and fighting for life-extending treatments.

Pamela Michelle Salice will be remembered for her warmth, generosity, and unwavering love for her family. Her legacy will live on through the lives she touched and the memories she created. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.”
