Northa Lynn Aslaksen Mihm, of Murrells Inlet, SC, went to her Heavenly home on December 11, 2020, passing peacefully and with Grace. She was born on December 3, 1944 in Fairview, NJ, daughter of the late Stanford Julius Aslaksen and Edna Emilie Aslaksen.
Northa was the loving caring wife of George W Mihm (who passed in November, 1999). She is survived by her Family ~ daughter, Katherine Ann Fandel, son in law Mark C. Fandel, son, Peter Christian Mihm, daughter in law, Michelle Mihm, granddaughter, Danielle Lynn Hughes, grandson in law Derrick Hughes, granddaughter, Julianna Leigh Bender, siblings, eldest sister, Judith A. Merrick (passed) sister, Cheryl D. Mirone, brother in law Giuseppe Pippo Mirone, sister, Karen E. Aslaksen, brother, Stanford J. Aslaksen, sister, Elaine M. Hranich, brother in law Edward Hranich. Nieces, Cheryl Kinsley, Christina Kelly, & Veronica Mirone, nephew in law Roberto Di Stefano, grand nieces, Anita and Monica, nephew, Mario Mirone, niece, Randi Hill, nephew in law Adam Hill, great niece, Lennox Hill, nieces, Samantha Aslaksen and Sabrina Aslaksen, & great nephew, Thomas Springer.
“Faf” dearly loved her Family, had a passion for reading & had a gift for oil painting, music, crafts, and poetry. Northa was witty, humorous, and generous with a heart for serving others... especially when it came to baking you a batch of Snickerdoodles.
A Life Celebration will be held at Ignite Church Myrtle Beach on Sunday, January 10, 2020 at 12:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be madeto the Ignite Church Ministry School Scholarship Fund, 4808 N. Kings Highway, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577.
