Nathan Flowers Obituary

Nathan Allen Flowers (“Nate”), 42, Longs, SC, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 7. He was a wonderful and devoted husband, father and son.

Nate is survived by wife Tracy, son Nikolas and daughter, Nina of Longs; daughter Nevaeh Nickerson of Maine; Nathaniel Brown of North Myrtle Beach; Nicole Gainey of Hartford, AL; mother Teresa Brown of North Myrtle Beach; father Allen Flowers of Pleasant Garden, NC; sisters Christie (Greg) Smith of Ramseur, NC; Lorrie Brown (Mark) of Deptford, NJ; and Jey Brown of Beachwood, Ohio; one nephew Finn Brown of Deptford, NJ. His grandparents, Charles and Carolyn Flowers, and Cletus and Frances Carmac, predeceased him.

Nate was born in Greensboro, NC, on January 22, 1980. He graduated from Tampa Bay Technical High School in 1998.

Nate and Tracy were married in 2012. They just celebrated their 10th anniversary in June with a vow renewal.  Surrounded by friends and family, the beach and ocean provided the backdrop for the ceremony.

Nate loved the beach, four-wheeling, motorcycle riding, go kart racing, amusement parks, fishing, golf, and everything music. His greatest pleasure was spending quality time with family.

Nate’s family takes comfort in knowing that he is at home with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

 McMillan-Small in Myrtle Beach is handling arrangements for services at 1:00 on Sunday, September 11, at the Ocean Drive Church of the Lost and Found, 316 Main Street, North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Interment will follow at Southern Palms Memorial Gardens, 5000 Highway 17 South, North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Ocean Drive Church of the Lost and Found Music Ministry, 316 Main Street, North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, 29582.
