Nancy Kastelberg Robinson

Nancy Kastelberg Robinson, born November 1, 1948, in Hampton, Virginia, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family. She spent most of her life at her beloved farm on Pecan Lane in Sanford, North Carolina, where she shared many happy years with her devoted husband, George Wayne Robinson.

Nancy was the cherished daughter of Bruce and Geraldine Smith Kastelberg. She built a life centered on family, education, friendship, and a deep love for animals. For 38 years, she dedicated herself to teaching in the Veterinary Medical Technology program at Central Carolina Community College. Through her commitment to her students and profession, she helped shape the careers of countless veterinary technicians. Along the way, she developed many lasting friendships and earned the respect and admiration of colleagues and students alike.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Nancy was known for her lifelong love of horses. Her passion for horses brought her joy throughout her life and connected her to a wide community of friends who shared her enthusiasm. Whether at the farm she treasured so deeply or among fellow horse lovers, Nancy's warmth, kindness, and genuine spirit made a lasting impression on everyone she met.

Nancy's greatest pride was her family. She is survived by her husband, George Wayne Robinson; her daughter, Jennifer Robinson Carroll and husband, Scott Carroll; her son, Daniel Wayne Robinson and wife, Courtney Robinson; her sister, Susan K Chandler; her granddaughter, Claire Elizabeth Carroll; and her grandson, Miles Owen Robinson. She leaves behind a legacy of love, dedication, and generosity that will continue to inspire all who knew her.

Nancy will be remembered for her unwavering devotion to her family, her dedication to her students, her love of animals, and the kindness she showed to friends and neighbors throughout her life. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those she touched.

A memorial service will be held on August 29 at 2pm at Jonesboro Heights Baptist Church in Sanford, NC.
