Millicent "Milly" B. (Beutel) Vaughn

Millicent “Milly” B. Vaughn, 87, passed away, March 2, 2025, at Myrtle Beach Manor.

She was born on October 12, 1937, in Baltimore, MD, a daughter of the late William F. and Maria Paucker Beutel. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert “Bob” F. Vaughn in 1999.

Milly was a graduate of Western Maryland College with a degree in education, she received a master’s degree from the University of South Carolina in elementary education. She taught 4th grade at Myrtle Beach Elementary for many years. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Myrtle Beach and the Agape Sunday School Class. She enjoyed many wonderful friends and was an avid fan of the University of North Carolina.

Survivors include two sons, David Vaughn and wife, Ellen and Kevin Vaughn and partner Binh Tong all of Raleigh, NC; three grandchildren, Kirk Vaughn, Ellie Vaughn and Melissa Ramsey; and three great grandchildren Emma and Robert Ramsey, and Rowan Vaughn.

A memorial service will be held at First Presbyterian Church of Myrtle Beach with Dr. John Brearley officiating on Saturday, May 3, 2025 at 2PM.
