Mike Hill

John Michael Hill, 57 passed away at his home in Myrtle Beach, SC. He was born September 16, 1964 in Salt Lake City Utah, a son of the late, Kenneth and Betsy Rae Hill. Mike attended Reynolds high school in Winston Salem and then headed to USC at Coastal in Myrtle Beach and never looked back. He fell in love with the area, made his home here and established a wonderful career in financial management. Mike absolutely loved his fishing, his hunting and especially those long golfing days with his closest friends. His dedication & commitment to SOWW (Special Operations Wounded Warriors) was one of his greatest attributes, but his kind and noble heart was his greatest asset. Mike was a wonderful stepfather and pet daddy to 1 pup, 3 fish and a turtle! Survivors include his wife, Katherine Hill of Myrtle Beach, SC; a step daughter, Grace Quickle of Myrtle Beach, SC; mother-in-law, Linda Walker Smith, who loved him like a son; a sister, Nancy Ellis and husband, Lee of  Montgomery, AL; a brother, Craig Hill and wife, Lea of Mount Pleasant, SC; nephews: John Ellis, David Ellis, Joseph Correll, Kenneth Hill and a niece, Shelly Hill. A memorial service will be 1pm Friday, July 15, 2022 at McMillan-Small Funeral Home with Dr. J. Kirk Lawton, Jr. officiating.
