Michella “Shelley” Ivey Williams, 71, of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, entered eternal rest on October 25th 2025. Born on March 9, 1954, in Myrtle Beach, she was the beloved daughter of Ruth and Joe Ivey and lived her entire life surrounded by the community and people she loved most.
Shelley was known for her nurturing heart, quiet strength, and generous spirit. She was happiest when surrounded by her family—her greatest joy and life’s passion. She loved being outdoors, soaking up the sunshine, and playing tennis with friends who became like family over the years.
She is survived by her children: Shaw Williams (Martine), Joseph Williams (Melissa), Cody Williams (Riley), and Tori Williams (Jacob); her grandchildren Lucas, Nash, Bella, Hampton, Beckham, Hudson, and Townsend Williams; and her sister Inga Ivey and Stacy Moore.
Those who knew Shelley will remember her as someone who would do anything for anyone—a woman whose kindness and care touched countless lives. Her legacy of love, generosity, and devotion to family will continue to shine brightly through all who knew her.
A celebration of Shelley’s life will be held Thursday, October 30, 2025 at 12:00 PM (Noon) at McMillan-Small Funeral Home in Myrtle Beach, SC and the family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday 10/30/2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:50 AM. Burial will follow the service at Hillcrest Cemetery in Conway, SC.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her warmth, strength, and love.
