Michael Joseph Rifenbery

Michael Joseph Rifenbery, 78, of Myrtle Beach, SC passed away, Sunday, November 9, 2025 at his home. He was born in Harrisburg, PA, a son of the late, Asa and Stella Rifenbery.  He was predeceased by his birth mother Adele Rifenbery. 

He retired from Proctor and Gamble in Mahoopany, PA,  and traveling was his passion, loved to read, playing cards, going to Mass and, spending time with family. He loved to tell the same jokes over and over.  Survivors include, his wife, Imdela Rifenbery, son, Edward Aftewicz, III, daughter-in-law, Melissa Aftewizc, granddaughter, Amanda Aftewizc, a brother, John Rifenbery and two sisters, Katherine Cori and Betty Renfrew. 

Memorial services will be announced by the family.

Memorial contributions can be made to Parkinson's research.
