Obituary
Michael Moshoures passed away recently. He was predeceased by his parents, John C. and Eloise Newton Moshoures of Myrtle Beach. Michael is survived by his son, Mason Moshoures of Asheville, NC and Dr. Chris Moshoures and wife, Karen of Shallotte, NC.
Michael graduated from Myrtle Beach High School and began his work career as a cook in the family restaurant, Mammy’s Kitchen.
Michael’s true aspiration was to be a rock and roll drummer. He played and gigged in various bands around the Grand Strand throughout his life. He traveled to concerts and music venues throughout the Carolinas in pursuit of the music he loved – 60’s and 70’s rock and roll. Michael was a devout vegan, never partaking of any food or clothing substance that comes from the suffering of an animal.
Michael lived with and cared for both parents in the last 30 years of their lives. Like his parents, Michael was a giver, offering a hand to anyone in need. All who knew him will agree that he was a talker, engaging in conversation with any willing participant. He will be remembered and missed.
