Michael Jordan Letts

Mr. Michael Jordan Letts, age 71, passed away May 12, 2025 at Cherry Grove Beach, SC. 

Born in Myrtle Beach, SC, he was a son of the late Leroy Harold Letts and the late Elizabeth Jordan Letts. He spent most of his life in Myrtle Beach, was a Boy Scout and graduated from Fork Union Military Academy in Virginia. He loved the beach and surf fishing (Pompano was his favorite catch). He spent many years assisting his family with the family business of 60 years, the Jolly Roger in Myrtle Beach.

He is survived by his brother Lee Harold Letts, III (Marion); his twin sister Michelle Letts Watson (John); his younger sister Rebecca Letts Gayden (Albert); his niece Lauren Elizabeth Gayden Wade (Jason) and their son Walker; and niece Molly Allison Gayden. Michael was known for his kind heart. He dedicated several years caring for his father and mother through their last years. He was always there when his family or friends needed help. 

Special thanks for continuous care during his bought with cancer to his dear friend, Becky Wilson.

The family will celebrate his life in a private service.
