Michael Dean Clardy

Michael Dean Clardy, 64, passed away on Monday, May 3, 2021. A son to the late Laura Frances (Cooper) and Harold Dean Clardy. Born in Conway, SC on September 20, 1956.

Michael leaves behind his loving wife, Sherry Wright Clardy, his sons, George Michael and Wife Julie Clardy, Bryan Dean and wife Jaime Clardy, a brother, Harold Kent Clardy and his son Chandler Clardy, his six grandchildren, Isaiah, Laura Ellen, Vivien, Kwenzeka, Brayden, and Cooper Clardy, along with a brother-in-law, Dave and wife Allison Wright and their children Griffin and Logan Wright, and nephews, Billy, Travis, and Jay Wright.

Michael is predeceased by his father, mother, and brother-in-law Bill, Barbara, and Don Wight.

Mike was a strong family man who loved deep. He was mostly an outdoors man who liked to hunt and fish with his boys and grandsons. His granddaughters had a firm hold of his heart and were the apple of his eye. He was a man of few words, but had strong convictions. He believed in God and taught his two sons to never mistreat their mother, just as his father had taught him.

A graveside service will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday, May 6, 2021 at Ocean Woods Memorial Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
