Maureen Julitta (Riggs) Riley

Maureen Julitta Riggs Riley, 90, of North Myrtle Beach, SC formerly of Ironton, Ohio, passed away peacefully at her home on December 26, 2025.

Maureen was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother of 21, great grandmother of 30, and great great grandmother of 2.

She is survived by her children, Patrick L. Riley and wife Suzanne, Kathleen A. Hickman and her late husband Woodrow, Colleen M. Holderby and husband Barry, Michael Riley  and wife Jannilyn, Joseph A. Riley and wife June, Eileen Leibee, and Terrance Riley and wife Sherri. She was predeceased in death by her husband, Larry H. Riley, two sons, Timothy C. Riley and John G. Riley, and two sisters, Margaret Wilson and Judith Howell.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 AM, Friday, January 16, 2026, at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church.  The family will receive friends from 9:45 AM until 10:50 AM prior to the mass.  

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude Children Hospital in Memphis, TN.
