(Mary) Linda Gibbons passed away on February 23, 2025 at Myrtle Beach Manor. She was the daughter of Michael Walshe Gibbons, Sr and Mary Evelyn (Jones) Gibbons. She was born in Tuscaloosa, AL in 1940 and graduated high school in Alexandria, VA.
Linda was a Librarian’s Assistant for the Alexandria Library where she developed her keen sense of humor. Her quick wit & strong faith carried her through life’s many challenges. She loved living in Myrtle Beach, her church, dogs & chocolate; not necessarily in that order.
Besides her parents, Linda was predeceased by her husband William Wright.
She is survived by her brother Michael (Martha), nephews Mike (Diane) & Bob (Daryn) and many great nieces & nephew.
Linda’s family would like to express sincere gratitude to her devoted caregiver & most importantly, friend - Miranda O’Bryan. As well as her fellow congregants at Surfside Presbyterian Church who drove Linda to her various appointments all these many years.
Visitation will be held at McMillan-Small Funeral Home, 910 67th Ave N. Myrtle Beach, on Thursday, February 27 from 2-4pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made, in Linda’s memory, to: Surfside Presbyterian Church, 8732 Hwy 17 Bypass South, Myrtle Beach SC 29588
