It is with great sadness that we announce the passing Mary Frances Taylor.
She was born to Doreatha and Gary Todd on May 28, 1942. Her beloved husband James Tiny Taylor was killed in combat in Vietnam August 1968 and she never remarried. Her son, David died of cancer in 2024.
She is survived by her grandchildren Bradley and Brandy Taylor, and their mother Cindy Taylor, her sister, Linda Kay Winters and her husband, Pete, and her nephew Tate Todd. She is also survived by a great number of nieces, nephews and cousins from the Todd, Jones, and Winters families.
She was predeceased by her brother David and his wife Cheryl and their son, Kevin and Kay and Pete’s children , Helen and Charlie.
Her presence brought warmth, joy, and compassion to all who knew them. Throughout their life, they touched many hearts with kindness and generosity, leaving behind cherished memories and a lasting legacy.
She will be remembered for their unwavering support, vibrant spirit, and gentle humor. As we gather to honor her life, we find comfort in the love and stories shared by friends and family. Their memory will forever remain in our hearts.
A graveside service at Ocean Woods Memorial Cemetery will be held in celebration of her life at a later date to be announced.
