Mary Frances (Duffy) Dennis

Mary Frances (Duffy) Dennis, 85, passed away on Thursday,  February 27, 2025. She was born on March 24, 1939 in Longs, SC. She attended Palmer College in 1957 to 1958. 

She is survived by her five children, son Alton (Lisa) Jones of West Columbia, SC, Katrina Jones of Lexington, SC, Melissa William (Renee) of Pelion, SC, Duston (Betty) Jones of Columbia, SC, Tanton Jones of Lugoff, SC. 

She was the oldest of three Duffy children. She is survived by her sister Helen Sizemore of North Myrtle Beach, SC, and her brother Sam Duffy of Longs, SC.  She is also survived by her six grandchildren Heather, Ashley (Channon), Kyle, Carlos, Malcolm and Kaylie.  Also her three great grandchildren Autumn, Aislynn, and Talon.  She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph (Chick) Dennis. 

She gave her life to Jesus Christ when she was 12 years old and has never looked back.  She was an amazing Mother, Sister, and Grandmother.  She loved being of service to others and never met a stranger.  She loved going to the mountains in the fall.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, March 4th, 2025 at 2:30 PM at Stephen's Cemetery in Longs, SC.  Visitation will be held at McMillan-Small Funeral Home from 12:30 PM-2:00 PM prior to graveside.
