Marlene Ryan Secrist

Marlene A. (Ryan) Secrist, Age 81, peacefully passed away on January 24, 2025 at Pruitt's Nursing home. 

Marlene Secrist was the beloved wife of the late Richard C. Secrist. 

Marlene (Ryan) Secrist was born in Lockport, NY on September 26, 1943.  The daughter of the late Marlin H Ryan & Leona Ryan.  She is survived by her brother Marlin H. Ryan Jr. (Marcia).  Predeceased by two sisters - Susan Granchelli and Mary Jane DiPaolo. 

Also survived by her 3 children - Richard C. Secrist Jr., Stacey (Secrist) Porfilio (Daryll) & Susie (Secrist) Gasque (Rodney). 

Marlene proudly talked about her family and was very involved with her 5 grandchildren- Hillary (Secrist ) Hoffenbacker, Courtney (Porfilio) Stitt, Alexis Porfilio, Luke Gasque & Ryann Secrist.  Marlene has 3 wonderful great grandchildren.  

Marlene/wife/Mom/Nana- enjoyed life to the fullest.  Her outgoing personality had everyone around her laughing. She enjoyed playing Tennis with her girlfriends , loved baking, playing card games, games and enjoyed sharing her pool with family and friends.  She enjoyed entertaining with family and friends. Marlene never missed an opportunity to celebrate any occasion with a very large cake.  She will be missed dearly by family and friends and all who knew her.
