Malcolm W. Johnson, 66, passed away on Sunday, April 20. 2025 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
He was the son of the late Malcolm and Mozelle Graham Johnson. He was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Minnie and Murph Graham, and Mack and Georgina Johnson. Brother-in-law, Mark Stinnett.
Malcolm “Mike” attended Myrtle Beach High School. After high school he worked for several local mechanic shops. Later he built gas turbines and nuclear power plants all over the U.S. Mike enjoyed his family loving his children and grandchildren like no other. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping with his family. He loved being on the river, cooking major amounts of food for his family and friends. His family loved his specialty dishes of pecan pie, tomato pie, boiled peanuts, and ham and rice. Other hobbies he loved were riding his Harley, building motors, reloading, watching NASCAR, and listening to music.
He survived by his wife, Cindy; his children, Malcolm W. Johnson, Jr.(Heather), Annise Johnson(Nick), Allysa(Gabe) George Johnson, Tiffany Roberts(Derrick), and Logan Cooper(Ashton). His grandchildren, Jake, Harper, Savannah, Bella, Myles, Travis, Arianna, Drayton, Sophie, Olin, Kinsley, and Carson. His brother, Bradley Johnson(Pam) and sisters, Michelle Stinnet, and Sheila Cress(Stuart).
Memorial service will be 10:00 am, Thursday, April 24, 2025 at Huggins Landing.
