Lynn Chaplowe Travis

Lynn Chaplowe Travis of Myrtle Beach passed away peacefully at Embrace Hospice Care on Thursday, June 26th, 2025. Born on January 10th, 1959 to Alfred and Joyce Chaplowe of Natick Massachusetts. Lynn was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her loving husband Everett Travis of Myrtle Beach, her sister Sharon Merchant of Myrtle Beach, niece Staci, nephew Dustin of Myrtle Beach, her stepson’s Christopher Travis(Olivia) of Conway, David Travis of Georgia, two grandchildren that she adored Nora and Luke and her precious cat Ember. Additionally, she leaves behind so many friends and family that will miss her dearly.
Lynn was a woman of deep wisdom, grace and strength- someone who lit up every room with her presence. Lynn was a hard worker- having many jobs in the service industry and more recently Lynn worked in real estate, where she met so many of her friends. Fueled by passion and grit, Lynn was a dedicated marathon runner who would greet each day with miles on the beach and the sunrise at her side. Her strength was in her stride, her peace in the waves and her purpose in every finish line she crossed.

A memorial service will take place Saturday, July 5th, 2025, 1:00 PM at McMillian-Small Funeral Home, 910 67th Avenue N. Myrtle Beach, SC 29572.

Jill and Robert Powell will host friends and family at RJ’s immediately after the service 6900 N Ocean Blvd (The Caravelle).
