Linda Kay Wolfe

Linda K. Wolfe, age 79, of Troy, New York, passed away on March 18, 2026 surrounded by family,  at Grand Strand Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. 

Born in Albany, New York, Linda built a successful career as a computer programmer, a field in which she dedicated many years of hard work and skill. She was known for her intelligence, strong work ethic, and deep love for her family.  She loved spending time with her extensive family and friends. She loved taking scenic rides, enjoying her surroundings, always with a stop for ice cream.

Linda is survived by her beloved husband, Richard F. Wolfe. She leaves behind her loving children: Anginette Adams; Tracey Adams-Bonanno; Cindy Hitchcock (Ron); Elizabeth Stocker (Michael Bernson); and Thomas Wolfe (Kim Gorleski-Forchilli).

She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Jacob Bonanno, Jensen Bonanno, Daniel Hitchcock (Jenna), Amy Girard (Brandon), Charles Stocker IV, Courtney Dougherty (Jon), Mia Wolfe, Chelsea Macchiarelli (Alessandro), Holly Hitchcock, David Guinan, and Andrew Forbes.

She was also a cherished great-grandmother to Vincenzo Macchiarelli, Madison Girard, Amari Forbes, and Aubrey Forbes.

Cremation arrangements are being handled by McMillan-Small Funeral Home in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date in New York.

Linda’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
