Ledosta M. (McNeil) Putignano

Conway, SC

Ledosta Putignano, 89, passed on February 7th, 2025, at home.  She was born September 12th, 1935, in Conway, SC daughter of Jessie and Guy McNeil.

Ledosta was a devoted Christian, who was very involved in her church Crosspoint and served in any way needed.  She spent a good portion of her retired years volunteering at Grand Strand Hospital and prior to that working for the Red Cross as she always felt passionate about helping others.  In her free time, she enjoyed sewing and quilt making and spending time with her family and friends any chance she could.  Additionally, she dedicated her life as primary caregiver to her daughter Kathy Johnson and was a huge advocate for people with disabilities.

Surviving Relatives:  Son and daughter in law Tony and Trish Johnson, Grandchildren Jessie, Dakota and Terra Johnson, and Great Grandchild, Jasmine Mebane.  Her daughter Sarah Gouldon, Grandchildren Elizabeth and Philip Gouldon. 

Siblings Eloise Smith and Atwood McNeil, along numerous nieces and nephews and extended family.
