Laura Mary (Vickerstaff) Moberley

Laura Vickerstaff Moberley, 42, passed away August 31, 2022, in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. She was born September 26, 1979, in Hyden, Kentucky a daughter of Jackie Daniels and John Vickerstaff.

Laura was a teacher for many years.  She loved animals and had many pets. She enjoyed spending time with her horse, Elliot Mango and her Chinese Water Dragon, Kiwi. She loved going on adventures with her children.  She enjoyed spending time in Murrell’s Inlet, watching the goats on Goat Island and being near the water.  She also enjoyed doing embroidery.

She is survived by her husband, William Moberley; her father, John Vickerstaff; her mother, Jackie Daniels; her sister Megan Jones (Jeremy Jones); her brother Michael Vickerstaff (Becky Vickerstaff); and nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at Carolina Forest Community Church on Thursday, September 8, 2022, from 2:00-3:45 pm. Funeral services will be 4:00 PM, Thursday, September 8, 2022, with Rev. Tyler Edwards leading the service. Burial will follow at Centenary United Methodist Church Cemetery in Conway on Hwy 544.
