Kimberly Anne McPhail, 56, passed away, Tuesday, May 26, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on December 15, 1969, in Hartford, CT, a daughter of the late Roger Maurice Hebert, Sr. and Diane Giroux Yeager. She was predeceased by her paternal grandparents, Wally J. and Rose A. LaPrise Hebert and her maternal grandparents, Lawrence E. and Blandine Jacques Giroux.
She attended Orville H Platt High School in Meriden, Ct and was a former employee of Scotty’s Beach Bar and the Beach Wagon in Myrtle Beach.
Kimberly’s larger-than-life personality made her unforgettable to everyone who knew her. She was a protector, a fighter, and a nurturer in every sense of the word. As a devoted mother, grandmother, family member, and friend, her kindness and compassion touched countless lives. No matter the circumstance, she was always willing to lend a helping hand and put the needs of others before her own. Her caring nature extended not only to the people she loved, but also to the animals she adored throughout her life.
She will be remembered for her strength, warmth, selflessness, and unconditional love.
Her beautiful spirit will continue to live in the hearts of all who loved her. She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
Survivors include her fiancé, James R. Ankeney, her daughter, Heather L. Woods and her husband, Robert A. Woods, her son, Sage L. McPhail and his significant other, Jessica N. Richardson and her grandchildren, Olivia, Logan, Gauge, Camryn, Emma, Ella, and Charlee. She is also survived by her sister, Kellie M. Knaffle and husband, Mike; brothers, Roger M. Herbert, Jr. and wife, Laura, and Michael C. LeBlanc and wife, Danielle; nieces, Ashley Null, Katlyn Knaffle and Mikala LeBlanc; and nephew, Michael LeBlanc, Jr.
