Kimberly Blanton Moore, 64, born on December 28, 1960, passed away peacefully on February 2, 2025, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She was the beloved daughter of Olin I. Jr. and Verma Rae Blanton, both of whom proceeded her in death. Kim was also predeceased by her brother, Gregory Derek Blanton.
Kim is survived by her loving husband, Tom Moore; her daughter, Lauren Kyzer (Brian Kyzer); her son, Kyle Priestley (Tara Priestley), and step children, Christy Moore (Bradley) and Christopher Moore. Kim was also a loving Grandmother to three Grandchildren Jacob, Mason, And Madison Kyzer and she cherished every moment with them.
Kim was a dedicated and caring individual who grew up in Myrtle Beach, where she formed lasting memories and friendships. She worked in the banking industry for many, many years, where she was known for her professionalism and kindness.
Kim was a fighter, and her strength was an inspiration to everyone. Her caring nature and bright spirit will be deeply missed by her family and friends. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and determination that will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing her.
A celebration of Kim's life will be held on February 7, 2025, with visitation at 1:00pm and the funeral at 2:00pm at McMillian-Small Funeral Home, 910 67th Avenue North, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network in her memory.
