Kevin William VanBremen, “Van,” age 40 of Myrtle Beach, SC, passed away on August 7, 2023. Kevin was born on November 24, 1982, in Fairfax, Va, the son of Gail Carberry Evans and the late C. Laurence VanBremen. He is survived by his mother Gail and stepfather Jack Evans of Summerville, SC, his sister and brother-in-law Stacey and Dwayne Beam, nieces Hannah and Lindsey Beam of Myrtle Beach, SC. Also, survived by uncles Gerry (Karen) VanBremen of Miami, FL, and Bill (Sheila) Carberry of Rockville Centre, NY, and aunts Roberta Cline of Bentonville, AR; Lisa Carberry of Palm Desert, CA; Kelly Carberry (Jim Gable) of Leesburg, VA, along with numerous cousins across the country.
Kevin is a 2005 graduate of Coastal Carolina University. Upon graduating, he began his career in the hospitality and service industry in the Myrtle Beach, SC (Grand Strand area). He also was employed by Great American Restaurants in Northern Virginia.
During his primary and secondary school years in Northern Virginia, Kevin was actively involved in sports. His love for golf began at an early age with his dad. He played travel ice hockey for many years and lettered in high school baseball and golf.
Kevin had a fascination for American history and enjoyed both collegiate and professional sports-especially the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at 11 am at Hillcrest Cemetery on Hwy 544, Conway, SC All are welcome.
