Kenneth D. Byers, Jr. Obituary

Kenneth Dwight Byers Jr., 78, of Myrtle Beach, SC, went to be with the Lord and his beloved wife Marlene on Tuesday, March 30, 2021.

He was born May 21, 1942 in Port Clinton, Ohio, a son of the late Kenneth D. and Lena Cline Byers.  He was predeceased by his wife, Marlene May Byers in 2016.

Ken graduated Point Part College and had a very successful career as a computer software engineer.  He was proud to be a U.S. Army veteran.

Kenneth is survived by his daughter, Melissa J. Byers and his brother Darrol Clifford Byers. He was predeceased by his oldest brother, Donald Leroy Byers.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, April 2, 2021, at the Chestnut Grove Cemetery in Herndon, Virginia. Services will be directed by Adams-Green Funeral Home of Herndon, VA and McMillan-Small Funeral Home of Myrtle Beach, SC.
