Kenneth George Wicks

Kenneth George Wicks, 78, of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and formerly of Morris Township, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on August 14, 2026.

Kenneth was born on November 30, 1947, and was raised in Hayes, Middlesex, England, where he began a successful career in the printing and publishing industry.

His career spanned more than 40 years. He served as Bindery Supervisor and Vice President of Beckley Press in Fairfield, New Jersey, and later as an appraiser for Hammer Press in Parsippany, New Jersey. He also sold real estate for Weichert Realtors in New Jersey and pursued his real estate license in Myrtle Beach during retirement.

Kenneth loved staying active and was a regular at the Claire Chapin Epps YMCA. He was an avid soccer fan who always rooted for his home team, Chelsea, and was a member of The Church of the Messiah in Myrtle Beach.

Kenneth will always be remembered for his sense of humor and charismatic personality. He loved telling jokes and making a room full of people laugh. He brought joy to everyone he met, especially those closest to him.

He is survived by his loving wife, Graciela E. Wicks; his devoted daughters, Nancy Violet Mugan (Walter P. Mugan) of Wyckoff, New Jersey, and Natalie Barbara Wicks of Morristown, New Jersey; his adoring grandsons, Jack and Henry Mugan; and his beloved brother, David William Wicks of London, England.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Barbara and George Wicks; his brothers, Clive Wicks and Richard John Wicks; and his aunt, Sylvia Carey.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 20, 2026, at McMillan-Small Funeral Home. The family will greet friends following the service.
