Kenneth Lionel Causey

Kenneth Lionel Causey “BiggDogg,” age 54, passed away on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at Grand Strand Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

He was born in Marion County, South Carolina, to Franklin and Evelyn Causey.

Kenneth served his community in Davidson County, North Carolina, as a law enforcement officer for more than 20 years. When he wasn't serving his community, he enjoyed fishing, shooting, and spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his father, Franklin Causey.

He is survived by his wife of nearly 30 years, Julie Causey; his daughter and stepdaughter, Madison (Will) Mulrain of Loris, South Carolina, and Samantha (Justin) Clewell of Raleigh, North Carolina; and his four grandchildren, Adeline, Lincoln, Ava, and Nora.

At the family's request, there will be no service at this time. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Joint Task Force K9s (JTFK9s), 7140 SC-707, P.O. Box 31741, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

Kenneth would tell everyone, “I've got your six.” He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
