Katherine C. Saunders

Katherine C. Saunders, of Myrtle Beach, SC, passed away peacefully at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center on October 28th , 2024. She was 91 years of age.

Born in Charlotte, NC in November 1932, she moved, with her family, to Myrtle Beach in late fall of 1962. She was employed by the Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce and later as the Golf Director of the Sheraton Myrtle Beach Inn. She was very active in the Myrtle Beach Woman’s Club and other Community organizations and attended the First Presbyterian Church of Myrtle Beach.

She is survived by her three children, Kathy Saunders and William Saunders, both of Myrtle Beach, SC and Bryan Saunders of Conway, SC, and her four Grandchildren, Bryan Saunders, Jr. and Payton Saunders, both of Charleston, SC, Kirk Saunders of Myrtle Beach, SC and Christopher Catton of Conway, SC.
