Karl Brent Ingebrigtson, 65, of Myrtle Beach, SC was called home on January 24, 2024 surrounded by his family. Brent was born in Great Falls, MT to Karl and Ilene Ingebrigtson. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ilene Ingebrigtson, sister, Vicki Forsman, and niece, Krystal Steiner.
Brent was active in his youth as an avid runner, downhill and water skier and golfer. He also enjoyed riding 4-wheelers, motorcycles, snowmobiles, and boating. He graduated from C.M. Russell High School in 1976, then excelled at Montana State University, graduated top of his class with a master’s degree in Economics. He married his college sweetheart Kari, married for 45 years, they had three children Blake, Stephanie and Chad. He shared his love for sports with his children by coaching their teams, never missing a game or winterguard competition and watching sports with his sons. He retired after 24 years from a Kentucky power company as a Sr. Federal Policy Analyst. He will be remembered as a loving son, brother, husband and father.
Brent is survived by his wife Kari Ingebrigtson, son Blake Ingebrigtson, daughter Stephanie Jett (Walter), son Chad Ingebrigtson, father Karl Ingebrigtson, sister Lauri Ingebrigtson and granddogs Gemma and Ollie.
